National Food manufacturers deliver linehaul freight in large quantities every day to be distributed to multiple customers throughout South East Queensland.

The Task

Freight needs to be split and separated and then distributed to Regional Distribution Centres (Coles, Woolworths, Aldi, IGA, MetCash), Food distribution Services (PFD, Bidfood, Superior, Moco), Cold Storage Facilities (Riverside Cold Stores, Americold, Lineage, Calypso) and other Bulk customer deliveries.

What We Did

Our Archerfield depot has a large cross-dock and ante bat facility. Line haul freight comes in, is broken down and sorted by run, and goes out on our refrigerated fleet while maintaining temperature-controlled handling throughout the transfer.

Our network covers Brisbane metro, Ipswich, Beaudesert, the Gold Coast to the border, the Sunshine Coast and Noosa, Toowoomba, and northern NSW. Freight delivered over-night can be delivered same day into metro DC’s and coastal centres.

Customers from around Australia can deposit their line-haul freight into JDRT Archerfield, knowing it is in a safe set of hands to get to its South-East Queensland destinations.
