High quality, prepared-meals are produced and packaged every day and finished product needs to quickly move to off-site cold storage for further distribution.

The Task

The product is packaged ready for sale on supermarket shelves or direct delivery to customers homes. Packaging presentation is important and product must be treated with care to arrive looking its best.

What We Did

We matched our collections to their production output, so product moves as it’s ready. We use loader bars combined with pogo’s and boards to ensure freight is protected in transit, even though it takes more time at loading and unloading. We communicate with 3^rd party cold stores to align delivery slots and ensure freight arrives when it should.

The Results

Product arrives customer ready, container corners are sharp and ready to hit the shelves. Production lines remain clear and 3^rd party cold stores continue to operate as a partner. Less product claims and less complications at warehouse make a more efficient supply chain so customers can focus producing and selling, comfortable that the cold chain in the middle is in a safe set of hands.
